Children are accepted to SJNS without regard to race, creed, color, sex, national origin or religion. Children who are 2, 3, or 4 years of age by October 1st are eligible to attend class for their age group or as determined by the Director. Acceptance by SJNS requires all children, with the exception of the 2 year old class, to be toilet trained. In order to enroll, the online application must be completed and accompanied by a non-refundable application fee of $100. Enrollment begins in January and priority is given to currently enrolled students, alumni families, and active SJOTM church members. New families are placed in February in order of the date of application receipt.

Payment Schedule

Tuition is paid in 10 installments throughout the year. The first payment is due in the early spring following acceptance to SJNS. Subsequent payments are due on the 1st of the month starting in September and ending in May.  Families may apply a tuition discount of 2% if tuition is paid upfront and in full by September 1st.  Additionally,  SJNS offers a 10% discount on the least costly tuition(s) for siblings attending SJNS concurrently.

Scholarship Opportunities

SJOTM and SJNS created the St. John’s Scholarship Fund to offer partial or full tuition assistance to families in need. SJNS also partners with Preschool Advantage, a nonprofit that provides funding for children to attend quality preschools. KEy   POLICIES

Immunization Policy - All student attending SJNS must provide evidence that all immunizations are current, according to the schedule of the Department of Health of the State of New Jersey. Immunization records must be submitted prior to the start of the school year. Medical waivers will be accepted. In order to prevent the spread of the flu, SJNS requires that all students receive an annual flu vaccine.

Medication Policy - SJNS staff does not administer medications to students while at school. Exceptions are made for life-threatening conditions.

Food Allergies - SJNS has a “nut-free” policy due to the number of children with peanut and tree-nut allergies. This means that we ask our students and their parents not to bring food products containing any type of nut into school for snacks, lunches, and/or other events.
